Emulation services is limited to the IP phones attached to the Quadro through the available
IP lines and provides direct connection to the available PSTN lines and SIP networks. In its
turn, the IP phones are limited to the following models with the perspective to enlarge the
list of recommended IP phones in the future:
Aastra 480i Aastra 6739i
Aastra 9133i snom 320
Aastra 55i snom 360
Aastra 57i snom 370
Aastra 480iCT snom 820
Aastra 57iCT snom 821

The Key System Emulation feature allows to:
Have a direct connection to the available PSTN lines and SIP networks behind
the Quadro by pushing the programmable keys on the IP phone.
Monitor the availability and status of all configured external lines via programma-
ble keys on the IP Phones.
Place the call on hold from one IP phone and pick it from another IP phone at-
tached on the Quadro.
Go to the Telephony menu of the Quadro’s Web Management for Key System Emulation
service configuration.
By default, the 6 FXO lines of the Quadro6L device are correspondingly attached to the first
6 SLA lines (SLA 7 and SLA 8 are inactive) and the 4 FXO lines of the Quadro4L are corre-
spondingly attached o the first 4 SLA lines (SLA5, SLA6, SLA7 and SLA8 are inactive).
