Quadro Manual I: Installation Guide Appendix: Changing the Admin Password

The Phone Access Password offers the following components:

• The Old Password field requires the current password of the Administrator. An

error message prevents entering the wrong password.

• The New Password field requires a new password for the Administrator. Reen-

tering the new password in the Confirm New Password field will confirm the

new password. The New Password field is checked against its strength and you

may see how strong is your inserted password right below that field. The pass-

word can consist of numeric values only. Up to twenty (0-20) digits are allowed. A

corresponding warning appears if any other symbols are inserted.

Please Note: If Administrator is changing the Local Administrator or Extension pass-

words or Local Administrator is changing the Extension password then the Old Pass-

word field is not displaying.

Attention: It is highly recommended to define a proper and non-empty password on this

page if the extension is being used for the Call Relay service from the Quadro's Auto At-

tendant.

Write down the password somewhere and keep it in a secure place. If the password is lost,

a factory reset will be required on the unit (see Administrator's Guide, Hardware Overview).

All settings are lost after a factory reset. After a factory reset the default password (19) will

be restored.
